Aircraft Twirls Uncontrollably into Palm Fronds at Well-Known Southern California Coast
A helicopter soaring above a popular California coastline abruptly started spinning wildly, finally descending rapidly and smashing into a line of palm trees as beachgoers watched.
Recordings shared on the internet show the aircraft commencing to spiral near the beach then descending towards the border of the shore, where it becomes wedged among palms and a set of stairs close to the coastal road.
Rescue Operation Update
Emergency responders stated five persons were taken to hospital involving two who were in the chopper and were “rescued from the debris” subsequent to the incident on the weekend.
Three people on the street were hurt. Details on their wounds were not yet released.
The reason for the accident was still under investigation.

Officials mentioned the helicopter was connected to an yearly “Cars with Copters” charity gathering planned for Sunday.
