Assassin's Creed Reveals Bizarre Attack on Titan Collaboration for Thanksgiving
In a unexpected partnership that challenges traditional expectations, the game developer has revealed an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Questline Disclosed
According to the official announcement, "A mysterious confrontation leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where hints of banned practices and monstrous metamorphoses resonate through the shadows." The plot presents a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a secret cult.
The adventure focuses on "peculiar trials and a monstrous foe" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Familiar Locations and Changes
The trailer showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser finishes with a striking sequence showing a character, probably the hostage, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who finish the mission will obtain an unique katana in addition to multiple objects secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:
